DR. JENNIFER HUGHES
Specialist General Practitioner
Dr Jennifer hails from the UK but fell in love with Oakura on a working holiday and now calls Oakura home. Completing her medical training in the UK she has broad experience from General Medicine through to Paediatrics and completed her Specialty training with her Fellowship In General Practice in Raglan. She enjoys teaching and has been involved in training GP's over the last few years.
In her spare time, she keeps herself busy herding her family from activity to activity and patching up her injury-prone husband.

DR. SHAUN BUTLER
Specialist General Practitioner
Dr Shaun comes from the proud training grounds of Taranaki's own Francis Douglas College via Otago University. After completing his time in Dunedin the allure of the shining peak, black sand beaches and yellow and gold drew Dr Shaun back home for his clinical years in Taranaki. Completing a Diploma in Paediatrics before embarking on his Specialist General Practice Fellowship he also enjoys Musculoskeletal medicine and is currently completing his training in Phlebology (Varicose Veins).
With a family of 5, Shaun technically has no free time but somehow manages to get engaged with Medical Research and a range of other projects to his incredibly supportive wife's dismay.

DR BRENT ANDERSON
Specialist General Practitioner
As Oakuras' long serving General Practitioner Brent Anderson has a vast array of skills and experience to call on combined with an intimate knowledge of the services available and strong relationships with the hospital specialists. He loves Taranaki and the lifestyle it offers when he's not working hard in one of the practices he's likely found at one of the local surf breaks or on one of his horses.

DR. NICK LOVERIDGE-EASTHER
General Practitioner
If anyone loves the Oakura area more than Brent it would have to be Nick. Originally from sunny Nelson Nick moved to Taranaki in 2012 and has worked his way through the Taranaki Base Hospital before choosing the General Practice Pathway. When Nicks not working hard at one of the practices he can be found Surfing, Mountain biking or doing some other adventures around the Taranaki region.

DR. NATALIE REID
General Practitioner
After biking to work on her first day... from Fitzroy, the rest of the team has given up trying to compete with Dr Natalie. An enthusiastic adventure sports hero Dr Natalie joins us as a locally trained GP with a special interest in Women's and Sexual Health and Rural Medicine. She really enjoys progressing her Te Reo Maori and will be working between Opunake and Oakura Medical Centres.

COLLEEN RIDDOCK RN.
Registered Nurse
Trained at the New Plymouth school of nursing Colleen has over 20 years of experience in General Practice. She enjoys working in the community and is especially passionate about family health.
When not working at Oakura Medical Colleen can be found planning her next trip to swim one of the oceans of the world, climb a distant mountain or drinking wine in one of her favourite European countries. She is an active member of Back Bench Hecklers (BBH)and in her spare time likes to make life size tapestries, and finish her long overdue novel.

Joining us from the winterless Far North Candice has moved to the Taranaki for the sunshine hours and warm waters. Her family have moved with her and her other job is as a part-time taxi driver for her family who love sports and outdoor activities as much as she does.
